Rotary World Peace Fellowship (RWPF) Chairperson: Joe Byl The Rotary World Peace Fellowship is a comprehensive fellowship designed to support a Rotary World Peace Fellow in a masters degree program at one of the seven Rotary Centres for International Studies in peace and conflict resolution. Ambassadorial Scholarships Ambassadorial Scholarships is a minimum of one year study overseas and participants are ambassadors for Rotary. Chairperson: Joe Byl Group Study Exchange (GSE) Chairperson: Mike Bermann Group Study Exchange is a program in which paired Districts exchange teams of a minimum of four outstanding business people or professionals for a period of four- to six-weeks of study in another country, thus furthering international understanding, goodwill and peace. 2008–09 GSE Exchange to District 5050, Canada Inbound Visit: 3 Oct–1 Nov 2008 Outbound Visit: 3 May–1 June 2009 Matching Grants Chairperson: DGE Ian Jones Grants are made for international educational or charitable projects sponsored and partially funded by Rotary Clubs and/or Districts. A Rotary Club may apply for a grant from The Rotary Foundation for a proposed international service project. Polio Plus Chairperson: DG Pushpa Pushpalingam Supports Rotarians’ efforts to achieve Rotary International’s and its Foundation’s goal of the certification of the eradication of the wild poliovirus. |
